Raven and Lily is trying to help this women by providing them with new job opportunities by making jewelry from lost bullets and coins. This socially responsible brand is dedicated to the work with women in impoverished and neglected areas. Their work in Ethiopia helps out HIV-positive women who use handmade beads out of melted bullet castings and vintage silver coins to create beautiful statement necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
The company goes beyond fair wages for the women involved in the creation of the jewelry and works with these women’s families to ensure they have access to education, health care, savings accounts and most importantly the recognition from their community.
